The 802.11n Enabler software recently made available by Apple for Macs with new Airport Extreme wireless cards doesn't play nice with third-party 802.11n draft and "pre-N" routers. Your mileage may vary, but the general consensus is that significant throughput degradation is the end result from installing it.
