It's after 2am and I'm still noodling around with page layout, CSS, and template code...

I'm working on my own custom theme/page design but for now it's a hybrid of the shaded-grey theme I used to have and my custom mods/hacks. I was inspired by Walt Mossberg's/Kara Swisher's new All Things Digital blog/site which also uses Wordpress and has a very nice look to it. I've learned a lot about CSS, Wordpress, and Smarty/PHP templates... but clearly not enough. I've managed to get the open layout at the top and the tabs, but there's way too much left to do to get it right. I hate leaving these things in a limbo state like this.

Time to sleep...
