My wife Celia decided to try out the new Ocean phone from Helio. Here is her review.
As I mentioned in an earlier post, my wife Celia has been on a quest for the perfect cellphone for quite a while now. Lately she has been using a Sierra Wireless Voq, an early-generation Windows Mobile PDA phone that she got on eBay, and which works with her carrier (Cingular).
Celia's requirements for a perfect phone are in many ways similar to mine: a full retractable QWERTY keyboard, ability to surf the web using a real browser, syncability with PC software, email. My own phone, the Verizon V9800 from LG, serves me pretty well. But Celia is not 100% satisfied with her current phone. Thus, she seeks out newer and better phones.
Including the new Helio Ocean. Walt Mossberg recently reviewed this phone quite positively, so Celia thought she'd give it a try. Well...
