Clearly I'm not the first one to notice the similarity:

Even stranger: Colbert just pseudo-announced that he's running for President last night on the Daily Show, mimicking the storyline of the movie "Man of the Year" in which a TV comedian runs for President. The guy's name: Tom DOBBS!!!!!

I've thought for a while that Colbert=Dobbs. I finally googled it to see if anyone else thought so. I wonder if anyone has approached Colbert to do a movie version of the Subgenius with him playing Bob.

Well, isn't "reality" (sic) a movie version "of the Subgenius" with Stephen Colbert as Bob? Or is that just wikiality?

"Bob" is clearly trying to pull a Clark Kent on us. What a sexy, sneaky bitch.
